ich habe mal ein Kommentar aus dem Independent nochmal nachgelesen.

The point is that just about every major conflict in the 200 years up to
1950 was decided not by who had the best military but who had the best and
biggest factories.

The Confederacy didn’t have as big a industrial might so regardless of the details , they were going to lose.

The US had the biggest factories in WW2 which is why, ultimately, it all went the way it did.

Korea was a turning point as it was the politicians that were directing things , not
the military...and that way of directing a war was expressed by the defeat in Vietnam which based on pre 1950s rules wouldn’t have stood a chance.

Trouble is, and this was the connection you missed earlier, is that there is a perceived
threat from these transnational Islamic ideology based organizations that , as
in Mali, seem to need to be dealt with militarily in order to contain the threat, to top it getting larger.The US supplied the UK with arms to contain Germany then. Same tactic.

Pre 1950s it would have been a nation state throwing its weight around and the
application of industrial might through the medium of conventional armed forces
would resolve the situation.

Supersonic aircraft and tanks are not really tools that are very effective against many
aspects of these new non nation state based threats. But they are the best that
can be found right now until the new rules of engagement are worked out.

Some changes have been made. Low speed drones, greater surveillance abilities, greater levels of energy independence (if nobody bought the oil the funding of much of this Mali style Islamic invasion would dry up.)

As I said earlier, I believe WW3 will be a religious conflict.
Hitler was a fanatic, but just when you thought it couldnt get any worse, the next lot are going to be religious fanatics.

That’s going to be medieval motivation and mindset mixed with 21st century war technology.

Nun interpretiere ich diesen Kommentar derart:

Das Jahr ist etwa 1940, Hitler (also die EU) hat ganz Europa erobert, ausser Britannien.

Also was damals die fanatischen Nationalsozialisten waren, sind es heute die fanatischen Moslems. Damit hat man die kriegerische Basis, um Krieg zu fuehren.

1941 ging der Krieg gegen Russland los. Also muss man jetzt bloss diese Islam-Fanatiker auf Russland loshetzen und schon wiederholt sich das Szenario des Zweiten Weltkriegs.
England wird wieder der Ort sein, wo die USA ihre Ruestungsgueter stationieren werden. Also muss England raus aus der EU. Der Brexit ist fein geplant.

Und nachdem die Ostfront wieder vom neuen Hitler, also die EU, verloren gegangen ist, wird die USA und England wieder glorreich auf der Szene treten und Westeuropa von den fanatischen Moslems befreien.

Beim Krieg der Rest-EU gegen Russland muss es aber viele Tote geben. Die USA gehen wohl davon aus, dass Russland Atomwaffen einsetzen wird.

So nun stellt sich die Frage, wie man die Islamfanatiker und die EU-Kontinentaleuropaer vereinigt, um gegen Russland zu marschieren?

Man kann im Baltikum ja behaupten, dass die Russen geschossen haben und nun wird halt zurueckgeschossen.

Nun muss aber die Merkel auch den Islamfanatiker ein Zuckerchen anbieten, um gegen Russland zu kaempfen. Denn gelinge das nicht, werden die Islamfanatiker die Waffen gegen die EU-Bevoelkerung einsetzen. Und die Folge waere ein Buergerkrieg.
Damit man kein Buergerkrieg in der EU bekommt, werden sich die EU-Fuehrungskraefte bemuehen, ein Krieg mit Russland zu beginnen.
