Warum waren die Medien (gesamte Presselandschaft in Deutschland, Washington Post, New York Times, etc) nach seiner Wahl so entsetzt?

Es sieht doch so aus, als ob er da weitermacht, wo Obama aufgehört hat.

Oder haben die Medien etwa geglaubt, dass es anders werden würde?
