Die Obama Administration zählt auch Abweisungen an/nahe der Grenze als
"Deportation". Wenn also der Grenzschutz jemand an der Grenze abweist,
zählt das als Deportation.

Die absoluten Zahlen schliessen die Aufriffe nahe der Grenze natuerlich mit ein, aber mehr als die Haelfte der Abschiebungen besteht aus verurteilten Kriminellen, deren Aufenthaltsort sich schon gewisse Zeit im Inland befindet.

Das ICE unterscheidet zwar nur zwischen verurteilen Kriminellen und nicht-kriminellen Verletzern der Einwanderungsgesetze, aber dazu schreibt das ICE:

For example, 94 percent (90,103) of ICE’s 96,045 removals of non-criminal immigration violators in FY 2015 were individuals apprehended at or near the border or ports of entry.

Daher kann man davon ausgehen, dass die Schnittmengen sehr hoch sind, abgeschobene Nicht-Kriminelle sind also fast alle an der Grenze Aufgegriffene, verurteilte Kriminelle kommen daher fast nur aus dem Inland.

Verurteilte Kriminelle aus dem Inland, die nach gaengiger Praxis abgeschoben werden, sitzen in Gefaengnissen oder werden als Fluechtige aufgegriffen. Aus dem Bericht des ICE:

Trump will im Wesentlichen nur konsequenter Kriminelle abschieben durch engere Zusammenarbeit der Behoerden (3) und signifikante Aufstockung des Personals des ICE (5).

Legale Einwanderer, die nicht kriminell sind, haben also nichts zu befuerchten.

Natuerlich koennen auch legale Einwanderer nach geltenden Gesetzen auf Grund einer Verurteilung in einer Straftat abgeschoben werden. Diesem Umstand bin ich mir persoenlich als "Permanent Resident" auch voll bewusst. Als legaler Einwanderer ist man als Nicht-US-Staatsbuerger mit Wohnanschrift aktenkundig und daher auch leichter aufgreifbar und abschiebbar, waehrend illegale Einwanderer unter falschen Identitaeten leben und behaupten koennen, sie seien US-Staatsbuerger. Es gibt keine Meldegesetze und Ausweispflicht wie in Deutschland, daher muessen die Behoerden den Nachweis fuehren.

Nein, in den USA Geborene sind automatisch US-Staatsbuerger, die koennen gar nicht abgeschoben werden, auch nicht als verurteilte Kriminelle.

Rechnet man die Aufgriffe in Grenznaehe heraus, sind ca. die Haelfte verurteilte Kriminelle aus dem Inland, die waehrend der Amtszeit Obamas abgeschoben wurden.
