Kürzlich habe ich gehört, dass Stings nächste Platte ein Stück weit ein "back to the roots" sein soll. Ich bin sehr gespannt!

Als kleine Ermunterung und musikalischer Rahmen fällt mir zur Reise ein wunderbarer Song von Sting ein: "Russians"

Sting hat sich zur Entstehung des Liedes im Russischen TV geäußert (Mitten im Kalten Krieg, Beginn 80er Jahre, Reagan, NATO-Nachrüstung usw.), und weil der Song - so erklärt! - wunderbar und authentisch als Zeitdokument "rüberkommt", möchte ich hier gern daran erinnern: leider aus aktuellem Anlaß
